Can you see the angel in this picture? Or maybe just gray nothingness?

I had an event that convinced me of an angelic appearance. Some may say that it was just a normal person—and they have a right to their opinion. As I do to mine. Even the Bible has somthing to say on the subject: Hebrews 13:2 says, “Don’t forget to show hospitality to strangers, for some who have done this have entertained angels without realizing it!” (NLT)

When a person comes out of nowhere, providing exactly what is needed. I rank the experience with a visiting angel. If I had been more conscientious I would have taken his picture. But of course, permission would have been needed. Angels, for the most part are not given to being publicized. That is why the picture you have is gray.

The experience went like this: My husband and I were on our normal routine of grocery shopping together. After collecting and paying for our goods, we loaded them into the car. That refused to start. The battery had died with no warning.

We called our neighbor who kindly dropped what he was doing to rush to our rescue. It was while he was adjusting his truck into position to jumpstart our car, that a man came out of nowhere. He had a little red box with a couple cords hanging to connect to a car battery. He had our engine running in next to no time!

Thankful beyond words, we made a beeline to our local auto shop to pick up a replacement battery. Crisis averted—but it didn’t stop there. That afternoon, my dear husband decided he had better check on the brakes to make sure they were in good condition. My car had acquired some squeaks, the brakes also needed replacing.

This man is a keeper if there ever was one! He ordered the necessary parts online at a reasonable price. In a few days he had my car fixed and good to go. To take the car into a repair shop would have cost several hundred dollars.

True to form, this neighbor of ours came and helped replace the parts. He too, is a keeper and comes ranked as an angel to us. It is to our benefit that he happens to be a car guy. We are over the moon thankful for his willing support anytime we need it.

Now about this gray picture. Do you have gray days? We all do at one time or another. But I encourage you to look at your situations as potential days of angelic intervention. Keep your eyes open in order to recognize them when they come.

Did you notice the sunshine on the wall? I know people that would use the wordplay of Sonshine. That would be Jesus sending an angel. Because I happen to know he likes to use people to do some of his out of nowhere intervention. You have the same potential, be that angel to someone in need.
